MENS FINAL 5-6-16

NOVAC GETS ALL 4

Serbian Novac Djockovic beat Brit Andy Murray 3-6, 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 and by doing this he won the career grand slam he also has done something not achieved in 50 years and that is win all 4 tournaments at the same time and as a man that seems to be a lot harder done than as a woman.

Murray started the brighter as he broke early and never seemed to loose that lead but we did seem to see a different Djockovic in the second and third sets. Djockovic did seem to have a bit of clinchers desease as he let a 5-1 lead slip to 5-4. But he did show why he was the best in the world with a difficult 10th game.

5-6-16 FRENCH OPEN LADIES FINAL

LADIES FINAL

SPANIARD SLAYS SERENA

Number 4 seed Garbiñe Muguruza beat Serena Williams from the USA in straight sets 7-5, 6-4 to win the French open for the first time it did seem in the second set that having to play 3 matches in 3 days hurt Williams in a way it would not do a younger player. Serena still gave her a good fight and competed well in both sets but did not play the smart tennis we thought she could.

MENS FRENCH SEMIS 3-6-16

MENS

Novac Djockovic showed why he is the best player in the world with an easy 6-2,6-1,6-1 win over Austrian Dominic Thiem a player who is not that well known to the tennis fans but Novac did show why he is seen as the best in the world
The only person to drop a set was Brit Andy Murray as he won 6-4, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 and showed that he is definitely not a player to be walked over in the final.
Who will put the french open to their bunch of titles Djockovic to make the career grand slam or Murray to get 4 of the five major trophies in tennis the US Open The Olympics Wimbledon its not as interesting but to pick up all 5 would be an interesting thing

3-6-16 FRENCH OPEN WOMENS

WOMEN'S

American Serena Williams proved that she was much too strong for Dutch player Kiki Bertens as she won by 2 sets to 0 7-5,  6-4 She now has the hope of becoming a legend tomorrow as she wants to equal Stefi Grafs 22 grand slam open titles.
Her Opponent Muguruza from Spain also found it easy against Sam Stoser winning it by 2 sets to 0 6-2 6-4 not the most recognizable name in global tennis but she is seeded number 4 and normally the number 4 is well known this shows the strength of Serena
Serena could equal Stefi Graphs record of 22 grand slams tomorrow

MENS FRENCH OPEN 2-6-16

LAST 16 WEDNESDAY

Serb Novac Djockovic beat Spaniard Bautista Agut in 4 sets 3-6,6-4, 6-1, 7-5 he is not lettin the rain disturb him which is a good sign of a champion

Czech player Tomas Berdych beat Spaniard David Ferrer 6-3, 7-5, 6-3 I would have been one to back Ferrer as the outside bet as he lives on clay and has been taught to play on clay from a young age

Belgium David Goffin beat Gublis of Latvia 4-6, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 I hope that for the people of France a preformance like this can lead into another and they will back him
QUARTER FINALS

Brit Andy Murray beat home Frenchman  Richard Gasguet 5-7. 7-6, 6-0 6-2 Murray is showing why he is the second best tennis player in the world but his first real test comes next

Swiss player Stan Wavwenka beat Spaniard Ranos Vinolas 6-2, 6-1, 7-6 Wavwenka looked in cruise control in this match and we hope that he wont do this ro Andy Murray
Thursday
In the third quarter final which was played on Thursday Novac showed that he can pick up the career grand slam still this year with a 6-3, 7-5, 6-3 win over Chech Tomas Berdych

Austrian David Thiem from Austia defeated David Goffin in 4 sets with a poor first set loosing 6-4 and a tricky seccond winning 7-6 being able to take control in the third to win 6-4 and just cruise in the fourth to win 6-1
My Champion

I think that only Djockovic and Murray can win this but there will be factors like how much Wavwenka will take out of Murray will effect who wins this tournament. I think Djockovic will find it easy and Murray will go to at least 4 sets but I could not see Wavwenka win this as both players will see this as their chance.

2-6-16 FRENCH OPEN WOMENS SINGLES

Today has been a strange day as we tried to get rid of round 4 but still we managed to get 2 semi finals on the other side of the draw.
THE WOMEN DRAW

LAST 16

First I will look at the last 16 matches being played yesterday in the women draw
as American  Serena Williams beat Ukrainian Svitlova 6-1, 6-1 and looked on form she looks like she can beat anyone even at her age and I think if she wants to she can go on for years to come

Bertens from the Netherlands beat American Madison Keys 7-6, 6-3 I wanted Madison to go a lot further than she has especially as she is the new generation of American tennis and you would think that training with the best she should go up another level

In the other last 16 match Bacsinskzy from the Ukraine beat Venus Williams from the USA 6-4, 6-2 Bacsinszki looks to be doing well and will be one to beat

QUARTER FINALS

Sam Stoser from Austrilia beat Pironkova from Bulgaria 6-4, 7-6 I like Sam Stoser and hope she is one to watch out for the title

In the other Quarter final Spaniard Muguruza from Spain beat Rogers from the USA 7-5, 6-3 Muguruza looks to be a difficult opponent to beat in the semi final
Today has been a strange day as we tried to get rid of round 4 but still we managed to get 2 semi finals on the other side of the draw
Thursday
American legend Serena Williams found it difficult to win her quarter final as she defeted Putinseva from Kazacstan 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 as you can see Serena did improve every set.

Unseeded Dutch lady Kili Burtins won in straight sets 7-5, 6-2 against Bacsinzky from Swizerland there seem to be 2 different players playing in each set as the Dutch lady improved massively

MY CHAMPION

Serena I think the only person who can beat her is herself or the amount she will have to play in such a short period of time. If that does happen I think Muguruza could possibly beat her if she takes Serena to 3 sets.
