DIMITROV SHOWS WHAT HE CAN DO
Dimitrov broke in the 4th game to
make the score 3-1. Dimitrov then broke again in the final game of the set to
make the score 6-2 and the score looked harder on Harrison. Harrison then broke
Dimitrov in the 5th game. Dimitrov then broke back in the tenth game.
The match went to a tie break. Dimitrov showed his class in winning the tie
break but the game was level until Dimitrov got 2 quick breaks at the end of
the tie break to win it 7-4. Dimatrov
broke early in the third to gain control of the set. And after a break in the 5th
it looked like Harrison had no hope. Dimitrov did not waste time getting over
the line.
WAWRENKA SHOULD HAVE LOST
Wawrenka broke in the 7th
game to get the first set in a very tight match to start with. Wawrenka broke
early in the second set winning the first game which gave him a lot of
confidence. Wawrenka showed his class to win the set 6-4 but this match could
have easily been 1-1 in sets. Beleuev got the chance to win his first break
point in the third set to lead 2-1 and broke again to be in a sence of
dreamland but Wawrenka did get one break back to bring it to 5-3but he did get
the set in the end. The 4th set went to a tie break and did not look
like the player that he was as he lost by 7 points to 1.

SHARAPOVA SHOWS WHY SHE IS TOP OF THE WORLD
Maria Sharapova was in a bit of
trouble as Dulgheru broke in the 7th game and then went on to win
the set 6-4 hitting a quality shot to win it. Maria Sharapova won the game winning one of the best points
that I have seen in a long time and both her and Dulgheru were incredible to
work the angles for. Sharapova did break
in the 8th and left herself with a chance to win the set as she went
5-3 up. Sharapova did show her class in the final game but Dulgheru did not
seem there like there was something wrong. Sharapova broke. In the first game
of the third to gain control. Sharapova broke a second time to make her have
control. Sharapova kept her nerve to get the win 6-2.
VENUS CAN LEARN FROM MISTAKES
Venus Williams showed why she is
still a quality player. In the first set against Bassinszly but in the first
couple of games of the match it was even before Williams took control of the
match winning the next 5 games to win 6-1. In the second it was much closer and
the set went to 4-4 before Venus got the break she needed to win by 6 games to
4. Venus is a fans favourite but I am not that sure how far she will go in the
tournament.
RADWANSKA IS BEST OF THE REST
Anna Radvanska was knocked out 2-0 by Peng of china. Jankovic from Serbia beat Pironkova 2-0 all matches being in the second round
