french open 27-5-15

MEN'S TENNIS RESULTS DAY 3

Novac Djokovic from Serbia beat J Nieminen from Finland 6-3,  7-5, 6-2
From this type of player very little can be learned from the first round. But this does look like his time as Nadal is out of form

Rafa Nadal from Spain beat Q hayls from France 6-3, 6-3, 6-4
Is he awesome or is he out of form and if he is what is going to happen to the French open if Nodal cannot make a run as he is not on hot form but an easy first round wind

Richard Gasguet from France beat G Gigougon from Belgium 6-3, 6-4, 6-0
Gasguet is one of the major French hopes going into this competition. He looks ready for anyone with a comfortable first round win

David Ferrer from Spain beat L Lacko from Slovakia 6-1, 6-3, 6-1
Ferrer looks quality on his home count
John Isner from the USA beat A Seppi from Italy 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4
Isner looks like one of the ones to watch

Marion Cilic from Croatia beat R Hasse from the Netherlands 6-3, 6-4, 6-2
Cilic looks good at this stage of the tournament

Kevin Anderson from South Africa beat  TSmyczeck from the USA 6-4, 6-2 6-2
Anderson looks like he is doing well with an early straight sets win

WOMEN'S
SINGLES

Serena Williams from the US beat Hlavackova from the Czech Republic 6-2, 6-3
Serena has the chance to become a legend if she picks up the wins she needs to be top of the female leaderboard and in this day and age it is much harder

Petra Kitova from the Czech Republic beat M Erakovic 6-4, 3-6, 6-4
Kitova looks off form at this early stage

Caroline Wosniki from Denmark beat K Knapp 6-3 6-0
Wosniki looks on hot form and able to beat anyone at this point
Eugenie Bouchard from Canada beat Kmladenovic from France 6-4, 6-4

Bouchard is one of the female tennis players that I would like to win the majors as she is someone that I think can do very well

Madison Keys from the USA beat V Lpchenko also from the USA 7-6, 6-3
Keys seemed to get better and better during this match. She seemed to be improving during the match. If she can do this during the tournament she might be one to watch out for
