MENS

B Paire from France had it hard in defeating Albot from Macidonia in 5 sets Winning the first set and losing the fourth set quite easily. The second and third wire quite hard sets for both with each player winning one. Paire won the fifth 6-4 to secure a win and a place in the second round.

Nick Kyrgios was very lucky not to drop a set against Cecchinnato from Italy as he won 7-6, 7-6, 6-4 he will have to improve to have any chance at the title this year

Gabaslivli from Spain had a tough first set against Young from the Usa winning 7-6 but cruised into the second round in the second and third winning 6-2 vand 6-3 maybe Young needs to look at what went wrong as he can fix it.

Kuznetsov from Russia won in 3 sets over Benjamin Becker from Germany 6-2, 6-2, 6-4 if Becker is to win a major these are the types of wins he should be having easily.

french open prediction/ preview 20-5-16

Novac Djockovic does not look to have any sort of chalange for the French open until the third round but even this looks like a simple passageway through. Andy Murray will not know who he will play but should be an easy first round Kalovic looks not to be a threat in the second round. Isner could be tricky in the third round. Stan Wavwenka would have to play Chady in round 3 and with the crowd behind him that definitely could be an upset. Nadal would have to wait until round 4 before he has a real tie against Kevin Anderson.
My outside bet will be Spaniard David Ferrer as he has played on clay all his life and I think seed of 11 is a little bit unfair on him.
My winner Djockovic

Serena Williams first real tie would be in round 4 against Anna Radwanska would have to play a potential shock player in Slone Stevens in round 4  Muguruza could loose to Makarova. Kerber should go through to round 4 where both keys and Konta could beat her.
I feel that Slone could win this or any tournament if things go her way.
My winner Serena Williams
