Serb Novic Djockovic cruised into the third round of the US open with a walkover against Vesely from the Czech Republic where he will play Yousney from Russia who beat Pella from Argentina in straight sets
John Isner from the USA needed 4 sets to beat Darcis from Belgium in 4 sets he will play Kyle Edmond from Great Britain who beat Escobedo from the USA in straight sets

Frenchman Jo Willfred Tsonga beat Duckworth in 4 sets from the USA to set up a tie with Kevin Anderson from South Africa who beat Vospisil from Canada in straight sets
Jack Sock from the USA beat Zvrev after winning in straight sets which sets up a tie with Cilic who beat Stakhovsky from the Ukraine in straight sets

Spaniard Rafael Nadal beat Seppi from Italy in straight sets which sets up a tie with Kuznetsov who beat Ramos Vinolas from Spain in straight sets
Pouille from France from France won in 5 sets to set up a match with Bautista Agut who beat Delbonis from Argentina in 4 sets

Frenchman Gail Monfils beat Satral from the Czech Republic to set up a tie with Almagro from Spain who beat Cuevas from Uruguay

Marcus Bagdaties from Cyprus beat Paire from France in 4 sets to set up a tie with Harrison from the USA who pulled off the shock of the round so far by beating Ranoic from Canada number 5 seed
