KERBER SHOWS EXPERIENCE CAN WIN
German Angelique Kerber won the first set of this US open
tie quite easily 6-3 before getting a tight loss to number 10 seed Piskova 6-4
and the match was all on the line when Kerber knew how to hold her nerve and
become no 1 seed ahead of the legend that is Serena after winning the third set
6-4 and she now has 3 of the 4 majors
