aussie open 27-1-17

NADAL THROUGH IN 5

Spaniard Rafael Nadal needed 5 sets to defeat Grigor Dimtrov. In the first Set Rafa won the first quite easily as he seemed on his way to another final. Dimitrov won a tight second set that went up and down in who you thought would win it. Rafa won the third with a tie break and you thought he had control especially when he broke in the fourth but DEimitrov broke back and took it to a tie break winning the set 7-4. Rafa got an important break in the fifth which he was able to hold onto. Winning the set by 6 games to 4 and looking like the time spent on court didn’t harm him as the match lasted over 3 hours as he is in his thirties.
RECORD FINALS

Both the finals are matches that first happened ages ago the first time that Federrer and Nadal met was in 2004 and they play again this weekend that is an amazing rivalry. The first time that the Williams sisters played each other in a professional match was in 1998 and the fact that they play tomorrow in the Aussie open final is incredible and Serena is going after Stefi Grafs record of 25 grand slam titles.
