mens singles 2-9-15

MENS SINGLES

Number 5 seed   Stan  Wawrinka from Switzerland   3  cruised to a 3-0 win over unseeded  A Ramos-Vinolas from Spain   a win like this does not help him but does show when the fight comes he will be ready for it.

American Jack Sock also found it easy in his first round match against Estrella Burgos Domican republic as he won also by 3 sets to 0

Scotsman Andy Murray found it difficult against Nick Kyrgious from Australia he lost a difficult third set but winning the fourth so easily does say that he has that sense of fight in him that a champion has

Tomas Berdych got a good fight in the first round against American Fratangelo but each set was not that easily won might help him going forward

American John Isner found it easy in his first round against Tunisian opponent Jaziri I really hope he gets a run in the US open this year as he is one of the underdogs that I like

Swiss tennis player and no 2 seed Roger Federer cruised into the second round and at this age a result like this should help him and if he gets a couple of matches as easy as  Mayer from Argentina I think he can go far.

Bernard Tomic from Australia won a bit of an epic against Dzumhur from Russia even though he lost a set a match like this will help him definitely going forward

Kevin Anderson from South Africa won a bit of an epic against unseeded Rublev from Russia 2 of the sets going to tie breaks didn’t really help Anderson’s confidence as he moves forward
